I am the owner of this fine medical practice.
I grew up in
Longmont and
attended Longmont
High School
.
After receiving a BA in Biology and Chemistry from
Bethany
College
in Lindsborg
, Kansas
, I graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine
in 1986. Family practice
residency training was completed in 1989 at the USAF Medical
Center Scott, Scott AFB, IL.
I practiced 4 years with the Air Force at
Ramstein 316th Air Base Clinic in
Ramstein ,
Germany
to complete the obligation for my military scholarship through
medical school. In 1993,
I joined my father’s practice in
Longmont Colorado
and have continued to practice on my
own since my father’s retirement in 1997.
My practice philosophy:
I went into family practice because I liked
the idea of being able to take care of entire families and the
individuals within the family throughout their life.
I enjoy getting to know each patient and feel that
influences from each individual’s family can also influence their
health. I take a
personalized approach, encouraging patients to take an active
roll in their health care.
I see myself as a resource for patients providing various
options for their care and believe in involving the patient in these
health care decisions.
I understand that patients may be interested in alternative medicine
and although my practice is traditional medicine, I work with
patients to coordinate their overall health care.
I feel that every person should be able to have
a doctor that they call their personal physician.
I strive to make my patients feel that I am their
personal physician.
